After 10 years of cleaning carpets for a local carpet cleaning company, Jon Akers began Complete Carpet Care in 1996. The first few years was focused on large apartment communities and commercial buildings. Then we transitioned into residential cleaning.

We noticed that while many companies offered truck-mounted hot water extraction, the service aspect for the most part left something to be desired. So we set out to build a residential carpet cleaning company that would be a breed apart when it came to service and quality, to be the “Nordstrom” of carpet cleaning.

As in all service businesses it’s usually the little things that make a difference. Things like courtesy, respect for property and privacy. We could go on and on about what makes us different (see 'Our Difference' on the website), but it really comes down to treating others the way we want to be treated.

An example would be our 5 guarantees. We know that when searching for a service provider you want to know they’re going to stand behind their work. It’s very disappointing how some companies and sales people are so helpful and ultra responsive until you sign the contract or write the check. Then trying to get help or have your calls returned is suddenly a very low priority. We make it a point to give ultra responsive follow-up. The same responsiveness after the sale as before the sale. It’s the little things.
