Using family and pet safe cleaning solutions which are plant based and biodegradable we begin tackling the spots and soils in the carpet. We’re a locally owned Bothell carpet cleaning business.
Being a Bothell carpet cleaning company that is locally owned and operated refers to a business or organization that is owned and managed by people who live and work in the same community where the business is located. This means that the owners and managers have a strong understanding of the local community, its needs, and its values. Unlike so many large franchise operations that have sprung up in recent years we’ve been cleaning carpets in Bothell since 1986. We took our kids to the Bothell firehouse pancake breakfasts and 4th of July parades. We regularly dine in the local restaurants, our daughter’s rehearsal dinner was at McMenamin’s. I remember when Canyon Park and Thrasher’s corner had nothing more than a gas station on the corner surrounded by forest.
Being locally owned and operated also means that our business is more invested in the success of the community, and gives back through charitable donations or other forms of support. In addition, because the owners are more directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the business, we’re more responsive to customer needs and concerns.

In this article, we will explore the history and current state of the carpet cleaning industry.
History of Carpet Cleaning in Bothell
The history of carpet cleaning can be traced back to ancient times. In those days, carpets were made of natural materials like wool, silk, and cotton, and were usually handwoven. The cleaning process involved beating the carpet with a stick or a broom to remove the dust and dirt. Carpets were also washed with water and hung out to dry in the sun.
In the 19th century, the invention of the carpet sweeper by Melville Bissell changed the way carpets were cleaned. The Bissell sweeper used a brush to sweep the carpet, and a dustbin to collect the dirt. This invention made carpet cleaning much easier and more efficient.

The State of Carpet Cleaning Today
Today, the carpet cleaning industry is a thriving and competitive market. There are many companies that offer carpet cleaning services, and they use a variety of methods and technologies to clean carpets.

Another popular method is dry cleaning, which uses a chemical cleaning solution and minimal moisture to clean carpets. This method is preferred for carpets that cannot be cleaned with water or are too delicate.
In recent years, there has been a growing interest in eco-friendly and sustainable carpet cleaning methods. Some companies use natural and biodegradable cleaning solutions, and others use equipment that consumes less water and energy.
Technology has also played a significant role in the carpet cleaning industry. New machines and equipment have made the cleaning process faster and more efficient. For example, truck-mounted carpet cleaning machines can clean large areas quickly, and portable machines are ideal for smaller spaces.
